Reviews and Ratings
Staying at this hotel was like a dream come true. The rooms truly live up to the name of Taj, especially the heritage suite and the grande rooms. The service, from the gentlemen greeting my vehicle to the cleaning staff, was top-class. The location, like a botanical garden steeped in history, is excellent. The dining experience, with outstanding buffet breakfast, was phenomenal. The facilities were exceptional, providing a luxurious and comfortable stay.
The hotel rooms were a bit outdated and showed signs of wear and tear, not quite meeting the expected standard. Despite being a bit pricey, the noise from neighboring rooms could be a downside. On the bright side, the location was stunning with beautiful gardens, though proximity to the restaurant could lead to some noise disturbances.
My stay at the hotel was a bit of a mixed bag. The rooms were just fine, but not as per my online reservation, which meant I had to change twice. The heavy bass music with people clapping and screaming made it feel like the room was shaking, and some of the toilet fixtures were old and not working properly. On the bright side, the service was phenomenal, with the staff being active and attentive to all my requests, even during busy breakfast hours. The location, despite being described as bad, turned out to be fantastic, right in the center of the city in a picturesque colonial setting. The dining experience had its ups and downs, with some shortcomings in service but fantastic food served at Masala club. The facilities were sufficient but not outstanding.
The hotel offers awesome rooms that give a heritage property feeling, yet they are one of the farthest from the reception/lobby area. The service is overwhelmingly nice, going beyond to assist guests. The location is outstanding, like an oasis of calm with a botanical garden atmosphere. The dining experience was underwhelming for a 5-star property. Overall, a good choice considering other options in Bangalore.
Staying at the hotel was an absolute delight. The rooms, with balconies overlooking the gardens and forest, were not only lovely but also upgraded and immaculate, maintaining their colonial charm. The service, from the warm welcome at the front door to the helpful staff at the reception and the incredibly kind gentlemen at the restaurant and cleaning service, especially Mohammed from the Travel Desk, was excellent. The location felt like a hidden resort nestled in botanical gardens steeped in history, right opposite the turf club. Although the dining experience at Blue Ginger was great, the outstanding buffet breakfast was somewhat chaotic. The facilities were top-notch, offering everything one could need for a pleasant stay.
Nestled amongst beautiful greenery, the hotel offers well-ventilated and hygienic rooms with a helpful reception team. Staff are exceptional with their kindness and helpfulness, making our stay memorable. The location is breathtaking, steeped in history, but some aspects lacked value for money. Dining was superb, with a warm welcome and excellent recommendations, yet not elaborate compared to pricing.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The room, while comfortable and with a nice bathroom, was far from the reception area and lacked windows and a desk for work. The service, especially by Mohammed, was exceptional and went above and beyond. The location, situated in a lush green area in Bengaluru, was a delight, though some aspects needed improvement. The dining experience, led by Venkatesh and R Mohan, was warm and welcoming. Facilities were decent, with room for enhancement.
The hotel has beautiful rooms with fantastic balconies but is a bit dated compared to other Taj hotels. The service is amazing, although there were some delays in attending to us. The location is peaceful and close to central Bangalore, enhancing the overall experience. The dining experience was superb, with a welcoming atmosphere, but it was served outdoors in a tent. Overall, a lovely stay with minor areas for improvement.
